Kellen took his first trip to the Twin Cities last weekend. He spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa while Austin and I headed to a pedal pub to celebrate Nick's birthday.
How many Oswald girls does it take to change a diaper?
Judging by the look on Kellen's face, I think he had a great time :)
Harrison was Kellen's first friend. He came to visit Kellen in the hospital right after he was born. Here are the little buddies 4 months later hanging out at the pool.
One of Charlies favorite play toys is his big ring. Charlie is having a hard time understanding why Kellen does not play Fetch with him. Notice what he placed on Kellen's head.
We have a plot at the UW Community Garden with our friends Nick and Allison. They gave us a tour tonight and informed us of our new duties :) We are hoping to enhance our green thumbs. Nick and Allison have twin boys due any day now!
The weekend began with a flat tire. Luckily Austin got the spare on in no time and a local repair shop was able to patch the flat for us.
We loaded up the new car and headed to Shell Lake for the holiday weekend. The weather was great. Charlie had an amazing weekend. He played in the lake and ran with Rudi non-stop. He is very exhausted today. We are glad we were able to spend some time with the family and with Jordan before he goes to Omaha.
Mr Kellen hit a BIG milestone On July 1st - he rolled over :) He is enjoying his tummy time much more. This morning he began reaching for toys while laying on his belly.
Austin and I have decided to run another 1/2 marathon. The training has begun!!! I have added all these little gadgets to Kellen's stroller to entertain him while I am running during the day. Yesterday he was in a chatty Kathy mood and talked with me the entire time, it was super cute and made the run go by quickly.
Turns out our little buddy is quite a sports fan. Apparently cheering for the Texas Longhorns and Minnesota Vikings wasn't enough, he had to jump on the Twins bandwagon as well!
Kellen loves to stand and put weight on his legs. We decided to buy him an exesaucer. We were not sure of he would like it or not........................ you be the judge!
Kellen and I took a trip to Beloit last Monday to cool off in the pool. We are going to miss cousin Ty's birthday party this weekend, we were glad we got to spend some time with him, Matthew and Mandi.
