We are loving the joys of parenthood and are happy to share little tidbits of our life together as a family.

Big Sitter

Kellen has discovered a whole new world! Boring OLD toys are now NEW when viewing them from a different angle :) We are thrilled that he is hitting all of these milestones but are sad that the time is flying by so quickly.

Jumping around

The Johnny Jump up is no longer a hanging baby basket. The first jumps took place this afternoon while mom was making banana bread. Maybe the bread was the motivator?

As you can see, Kellen is now an old pro at the eating thing. He even shares with Charlie :)

Here is Kellen's first taste of vegetables. *Another warning* This video may be cheesy for someone who is not his parent.

Here is Kellen's first taste of solid food. We gave him rice and oatmeal cereal after his 4 month visit with his pediatrician. *Warning* This video is over a minute.

The fever has broken

Kellen woke up at 2:00 am Monday morning with fever. We had a long night and a long Monday. He struggled last night but seems to be feeling a little better today. As you can see from the picture, he was all smiles when daddy came home. We wondered if he was getting a tooth. We've prodded around in his mouth quite a bit but don't feel any little bumps yet.

Haus Twins have arrived!

We went to Meriter Hospital to meet the Haus twins tonight. They were born at 7 lbs 13 oz and 7 lbs 3 oz. They are so small and precious. I never remember Kellen being that little...............oh wait, he was NEVER that little! The picture is of Kellen gazing at baby Deacon.

Hanging out at the Oswald's

Dolphin Cove

The Powell's invited us to join them at the water park today. Kellen had a lot of fun. He watched the big kids swim and liked playing in the little fountains that shoot up from the bottom of the pool.

Shhhhhhhh, I'm reading

Visit with Hannah

ST LOUIS, HERE WE COME

Kelsie, Kellen and I took a trip to St Louis. We had a great time visiting friends. More pictures of the trip to come.
*Note, this picture was taken in a parking lot, not on the highway :)

Solid Food

We have begun giving Kellen some solid foods. He opens up wide, reaches for the spoon and keeps most of it in his mouth :) So far he has tried oatmeal cereal, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, and bananas.
